Professor Justin Chircop is a Certified Public Accountant and Professor of Accounting at Lancaster University, UK. Prior to reading for a PhD in Accounting at Lancaster University, Professor Chircop worked in the financial advisory department of several large audit firms. Over the last 10 years Professor Chircop has lectured modules in financial accounting and financial statement analysis at several universities including the University of Malta, the University of Padua and the University of Latvia. Professor Chircop has published academic articles in top accounting academic journals and has been invited to present his research at several international accounting conferences. Professor Chircop is on the Editorial Board of several accounting academic journals and is frequently tasked with reviewing academic papers for the top international accounting journals.
